Infinity Métis Corporation Announces Leadership Role Changes to Support Strategy and Community Engagement.

Infinity Métis Corporation (IMC) is proud to share the new roles of three valued team members. These changes highlight IMC’s dedication to growth, strengthening JV partner relationships, and supporting McMurray Métis Local 1935.

Terri-Lee Hurley, already a key member of our team, has accepted the position of Human Resources Manager. With over 14 years of HR experience, Terri-Lee has lived in Fort McMurray for 15 years and hails from Newfoundland. She earned her BBA from Memorial University of Newfoundland and has an HR Management Certificate from Keyano College. Her skills in HR strategy, company culture development, and job placements are notable. Terri-Lee has also been active in the community, building strong ties with local non-profit organizations. She is keen to continue supporting local Métis members.

Sarah Popowich has accepted the position of Strategic Initiatives Manager. With over 20 years of leadership, much of it focused on Indigenous-owned businesses in the Wood Buffalo Region’s oil and gas sector, Sarah will oversee the creation and implementation of strategic plans to grow the company, use resources wisely, and ensure IMC’s future success. Sarah’s results-focused approach and ability to build strong partnerships make her a significant part of our team and the McMurray Métis Local 1935 community.

Nicholas Bourque has accepted the position of Business Development Manager. Nicholas is from Fort Chipewyan and is a proud member of McMurray Métis Local 1935. Having a diverse background in fields like instrumentation, capital equipment, and mining. His strong skills in building relationships will be invaluable as he works to strengthen our community ties and partnerships.

In these new roles Terri-Lee, Sarah, and Nicholas are committed to innovation, increased community involvement, and forward thinking. Their varied backgrounds and dedication to the Métis community align well with IMC’s mission and values. We are excited about the contributions they will make to our organization, JV Partners, and McMurray Métis Local 1935.
